The struggling Dallas Cowboys will be down in Florida this Sunday, November 15 to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The Cowboys still seem to be lost without starting quarterback Tony Romo and will be trying to turn their fortunes around this weekend. Dallas was 33-27 losers to the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime last week and has now been beaten six times in a row and three straight with Matt Cassel starting at quarterback. The Cowboys are 2-6 on the season and sit in last place in the NFC East division. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay is still 3-5 on the campaign and in the basement of the NFC South after sitting out week nine with a bye.

Cole Beasley also had a strong showing with 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns on nine receptions. Dez Bryant was playing his second game after recovering from an injured foot and gained 104 yards with a touchdown on five receptions. Darren McFadden broke the 100 yard barrier in rushing for the second time in the past three contests with 117 yards.

McFadden and Bryant should be able to help balance out the Dallas attack and they could soon turn things around, especially against mediocre, 29th-ranked Tampa pass defense. The Dallas defense has been struggling too though and it will have to keep close tabs on Tampa Bay’s rookie quarterback Jameis Winston on Sunday.
Winston, who was this year’s number-one overall draft pick, appears to be playing better with each passing game. He’s now gone four consecutive outings without being picked off ad has now rushed for a touchdown in each of his past two contests. Sophomore receiver Mike Evans caught eight passes last week for a total of 152 yards, but also dropped five of the other passes that came his way. Running back Doug Martin also had a quiet game with about three yards each rush for the second game in a row.

Since Vincent Jackson is still sidelined due to a knee problem it means Tampa Bay will be a little shallow at the receiver position, but the Dallas secondary hasn’t been that good this season. In addition, the Cowboys’ front seven has been hit hard as Sean Lee has suffered from concussion while Anthony Hitchens has sustained an ankle injury. This means Martin will be relied upon to deliver the goods like he did from week four to seven when he ran for more than 100 yards in each contest.
No matter how well the Buccaneers’ offense plays they still need to tighten up defensively since they give up an average of 28.9 points per outing, which ranks them 29th in the league. Tampa Bay enters this game with a brutal record of 1-12 in their past 13 home starts and they’re also 3-10 against the spread during that stretch. It looks like Dallas should finally snap their losing streak this Sunday with a close victory in the Sunshine State.
